Photography

During my photography course I have experimented and explored the many aspects of photography:

• Created detailed shoot plans while working to a brief, having set briefs has allowed me to further my understanding of how the camera works, teaching me about the importance of shutter speed, aperture and iso.
• Using the most out of the facilities that are provided to me to create interesting and creative outcomes such as using found imagery and the darkroom to develop film.
• I have explored different photographers unique styles and implemented their techniques in my work
• I created multiple small books containing my work such as a zine, handmade book and a small hand bound book.
• Planned out a full book and been able to create and finish work under exam conditions, working alongside peers to achieve a final outcome.
• Learning about the history of photography has allowed me to better understand it, I have made it a mission to push the bounds of what photography is.
