For the past five years I have dedicated my studies to GCSE and A Level Art. During that time I experimented and explored a great range of art techniques:
Researched artists and implemented their style in my work. Inspiring me to experiment with their styles and strengthen my skills as a painter and illustrator.
Experimenting in a wide range of different techniques has allowed me to have a great understanding of the different mediums that art can be created in such as printmaking, sculpting, painting and textiles.
I have had several personal sketchbooks that I have kept with me throughout the years, I am passionate to create new art and I believe that having these sketchbooks has allowed me to express myself even in the most difficult times.
Here within my portfolio I feature some of my favourite observational drawings and still lives, this could be graphite, acrylic or oil. Observing the world around me has allowed me to have a strong eye for shapes and colours that stand out in my work.
Scrapbooking events throughout my life has allowed me to record intimate moments and adventures, recording such a vast range of things has kept me inspired because of the changing environments.
Planned complicated work pieces and been able to adapt and overcome problems, I can be ambitious with my work and that makes me determined to finish my work to a very high standard.
